Bournemouth’s More Bus Air Festival will be taking place from the 19th – 22nd August 2010 and is set to amaze the crowds in spectacular style once again this year.

The free four day spectacular is set against the backdrop of Bournemouth’s seven miles of award winning beaches and glorious gardens.

Building work on Europe’s first artificial surf reef has been completed on Boscombe Seafront, Bournemouth putting Bournemouth firmly on the UK surf map.

The surf reef acts as a ramp – pushing waves upwards, doubling their size and improving their quality for surfers. As a result, the number of good surfing days should be doubled. The reef will also enhance the watersports currently on offer including kite-surfing, kayaking, SCUBA-diving, sailing and skim-boarding.

Bournemouth Surf School, situated on Bournemouth Beach, is currently the only National Governing Body (BSA) approved surf school on the south coast and closest surf school to London & the Sorted Surf Shop opperating on Boscombe Seafront also offer surf lessons and board hire.
